MEET THE MTD DOULAS
Tera Smith is the mother of five children all of which were born unmedicated and without interventions of any type. The last of which was a WaterBirth at Kenner Regional Hospital in New Orleans.
Tera is a proud La Leche League Leader holding group in Hammond, and has been an advocate for breastfeeding mothers from California to Louisiana. She is a Dona International Certified Doula and is a member of many birth friendly organizations including: CAPPA, ICEA,LCC (Louisiana Childbirth Collective) and ICAN.
Tera is the first to start and become a member of ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) in the state of Louisiana.
Tera has over 15 years experience assisting woman in there unique birth choices. Homebirth to Hospital Waterbirths Tera is there to serve you.

Jacqueline Macaluso aka Jackie Mac is the mother of two children both born in a hospital setting - with no interventions.
Jackie is a proud La Leche League Leader in Baton Rouge. She is a member of many birth friendly organizations including: DONA, ICEA, and LCC (Louisiana Childbirth Collective).
Jackie wants to help mothers and fathers achieve their labor and birth dreams. She wants them to be proud of their decisions. Feeling yourself push a living human being into the world is amazing and empowering. Giving birth naturally allows mothers to own their birth, be responsible for making their own choices, and set a great example for the younger mothers and fathers in society. Jackie wants to help society give birth back to mothers and fathers and not to hospitals and doctors. |
