The Louisiana Childbirth Collective is an organization comprised of doulas, midwives, childbirth educators, breastfeeding counselors, massage therapists, and other birth professionals who support families and each other, promote labor support by educating families and the birth community about the role of the doula, provide ongoing education for labor support personnel, and help families locate childbirth resources in Louisiana.
With active groups in the Baton Rouge and New Orleans areas, the Louisiana Childbirth Collective serves birthing families throughout our state.
We have endorsed the CIMS Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative and use it as a mission statement for our organization.

Please contact us anytime during your pregnancy. We recommend exploring education programs and doula services by your fourth month, but it is never too late or too early to learn more about birth.
The best way to meet a member of the Louisiana Childbirth Collective is at a workshop.
